SLAY Massage Therapy Policies-
cancelation, late client, no-show + conduct.
Cancellation Policy- We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
We require a 48 hour advance notice in the event you have to cancel, or you will be charged for the appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
CONDUCT: Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of the session, and you will be liable for payment of the scheduled appointment.
If you have a gift certificate and had intended to use it to pay for an appointment and did not give at least a 48 hours notice of cancellation, the certificate will not be honored for a future visit.
We need your help in this matter. You may not think it’s a big deal to miss an appointment without calling, or to call and cancel at the last minute. If several people do that in a week’s time to a therapist or other staff member, there goes someone’s car payment, or rent, or child care, or whatever they had intended to allot that money for. We understand that everyone has an occasional emergency, but forgetfulness and thoughtlessness do not constitute an emergency. If we get at least 48 hours notice, we can usually give that appointment away to someone else.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. Much appreciated!
